Makayla has started treatment on her brain tumor. She is receiving radiation therapy at the Cancer Center at Sanford. She has amazed us yet again and has been able to receive the radiation without sedation! So very amazing for someone her age. She also started chemo tonight. She is taking an oral medication, and had to swallow 3 pills! She did it with the help of a little ice cream!! She will take this medication every night for 30 days. Pray for strength for her and also pray that she does not get too sick from the medications! Thanks for all your support!

This is our blog. I am going to attempt to keep this updated with what is going on with Makayla and her battle with cancer (Life is busy, so I will do my best!). She is such a fighter and so very brave! She is so inspiring to us, and we feel so privileged to have been blessed with her! We are asking for prayers for a Miracle for Makayla! Thanks so much for the support everyone has show to us this far, we have been blessed beyond belief! So amazing, and our God is SO good!
